The ‘Metro In Dino’ team unveiled a short video offering the film’s first look and a teaser of its debut song, ‘Zamaana Lage’. The clip provides a glimpse into the lives of the characters portrayed by Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee.

The video opens with the words, “The city has changed, and so have the stories.” It then shows Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur standing together at a train station. Aditya’s character is seen soaking in the serenity of the mountains, while Sara’s character embraces the vibrancy of city life. Meanwhile, Ali Fazal’s character, a singer, finds love in Fatima Sana Shaikh’s character.

Konkana Sen Sharma, who was part of the first film, ‘Life in a Metro’ shared the video along with a special note while giving a special mention to late actor Irrfan, who was her co-star in the first part. This time, she is paired with Pankaj Tripathi.

Fans also echoed similar sentiments and wrote how they will miss Irrfan in the second part. One of the social media users wrote, “Irrfan Khan will be missed (sic),” while another commented, “Amazing! But will really miss Irfan Khan Sir in it! When I think of this movie, I think of the performance that etched in my heart, especially of you and Irfan Sir (sic).” A third user chimed in and wrote, “I immediately missed and remembered Irrfan Khan (sic).”

Set to release on May 28, the song ‘Zamaana Lage’ marks a collaboration between composer Pritam and filmmaker Anurag. The song is sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, with the entire soundtrack of the film composed by Pritam.

‘Metro In Dino’ will hit the theatres on July 4.
