The much-anticipated ‘Special Ops Season 2’, set to premiere on July 11 on JioHotstar, has been postponed. The official release date has been announced with a new post on Tuesday.

This season brings back Kay Kay Menon as the formidable R&AW officer Himmat Singh, navigating a new era of warfare that unfolds in the digital realm rather than traditional battlefields. The upcoming season will now begin to stream on the platform from July 18.

The storyline captures the essence of today’s volatile geopolitical climate, where conflicts are increasingly cyber-oriented. Wars are no longer confined to physical spaces; instead, they extend into the internet, making the enemy an invisible yet omnipresent threat. This transition to a digital battleground poses significant challenges to national security.
