JEECUP Counselling 2025: The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has opened registration for Round 2 of JEECUP 2025 counselling from today, July 9, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online at jeecup.admissions.nic.in until July 11, 2025.
The Round 2 seat allotment results will be announced on July 12, 2025. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status using their application number and password.
Earlier, the Round 1 JEECUP seat allotment was released on July 3, with the registration for that round closing on July 2, 2025. The UP Polytechnic entrance exam was held from June 5 to June 13, and the results were declared on June 23, 2025.
Documents Required For JEECUP Counselling 2025
Candidates participating in the JEECUP counselling process must carry the following documents:
JEECUP 2025 Admit Card
JEECUP Rank Card
Seat Allotment Letter (for the respective round)
Mark sheets and certificates of qualifying exams
Character Certificate
Migration Certificate (if applicable)
Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
Domicile Certificate
Two passport-size photographs
Two sets of photocopies of all the above documents
Only shortlisted candidates are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

After registering, candidates must fill and lock their preferred choices of courses and colleges. Based on merit, category, and seat availability, the authorities will allot seats. Once a seat is allotted, candidates must pay the seat acceptance-cum-counselling fee and report to the designated district help centre for document verification.
After verification, candidates can choose to freeze the seat (final admission), float for a better option, or withdraw. The entire seat allotment process will be conducted in seven rounds, offering multiple chances to secure admission.
